Delete your data in STRIDE

Effective 6 July 2026

This page explains how to delete personal data held by Stride Music Ltd in the STRIDE mobile application. In most cases you can do this directly in the app while signed in.

Delete data in the STRIDE app — no email required.

Update your profile, remove uploads and playlists, clear likes and follows, or delete your entire account from Settings.

Delete or update data in the app

While signed in, open the menu (☰) and use these options:

  • Profile data: Settings → Edit profile — change or clear your display name, bio, location, genres, avatar, and links.
  • Uploaded music (artists): remove individual tracks or releases from your catalog on your profile (deletes the audio and artwork we store for that content).
  • Playlists: open Playlists in the menu and delete playlists you created.
  • Liked tracks: unlike tracks from your profile or the player.
  • Following: unfollow artists from your profile or their artist page.
  • Blocked users: manage your block list in Settings.

Delete your entire account and all data in the app

To remove your account and all associated data at once (not just individual items):

  1. Open the STRIDE app.
  2. Open the menu (☰) and tap Settings.
  3. Under Legal & privacy, tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm twice when prompted.

If you cannot access the app

To ask us to delete particular data by email: support@stride-music.com (subject: "STRIDE data deletion request").

To delete your whole account by email, use Delete your STRIDE account.

Send requests from the email address on your STRIDE account. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Request a copy of your data

For access or portability requests under applicable law, email support@stride-music.com (subject: "STRIDE data access request"). We usually respond within 30 days.

What happens after deletion

Data you delete in the app or we delete on request is removed from our active systems. Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for retention details.
